Wall decor focal point must haves

WALL DECOR FOCAL POINT STYLE MUST HAVES!

Who doesn’t love a great focal point decor wall that looks like it was styled by a pro? We’ve all seen them as we’re scrolling through Instagram or Pinterest and get serious wall decor envy. Well envy no more! Ive assembled four, simple “must haves” for a pulled-together, great looking focal point and Im giving you some examples on how it could look for you!

First, our four HMN Co. Wall Decor Focal Point Must Haves:

  1. A bold focal piece - something large and visual that draws the eye
  2. Add a pop of seasonal color (you can never go wrong with green!)
  3. Vary height of accessories
  4. Include textural and elemental differences

Handmade wood sign wall decor
Here we used our Aztec Mosaic Panel Set, which we love for its natural birch wood grain and hand carved design that really brings your focus in towards the middle, and its matte black exterior that adds a dramatic effect to its natural wood neighbor. This set really has its own eye catching appeal, but when the pattern is faced in like it is above -your center piece gets that serious WOW factor! To compliment the southern theme we added a cow skull as our textural/elemental piece and added our Southwest Tri in black and white to meet our various height and pop of color “must haves” with its bold pop of white. We hope you can find inspiration from this bold wall decor focal point style and these signs can serve as a signpost in your home for you and your family.

Handcrafted modern wood sign

In this focal point style, we used our Triple Diamond sign as the eye catcher and added a pop of texture underneath with a threaded tapestry. We love how the Triple Diamond brings your attention downward with its dimensional wooden diamond theme and the natural pop of white it bring to an otherwise muted color scheme.  A smaller cactus with multiple buds add various heights and a pop of that green we spoke about in our Must Haves! We love the uniqueness of this look when added next to a dark stained bed frame with other white and muted color pallets. Add another pop of natural color like burnt umber and you’ve got yourself a cozy place to rest your head with loved ones!

We hope that our list of must-haves for a well-styled wall decor focal point and our examples have inspired you to create your eye-catching wall design. We’d love to see how your wall is styled with your Handmade Nest Co. sign! Share your photos on social media with the hashtag #HMNCOHOME We’re eager to see what you’ve created!
